Mobile Field Hospitals

Mobile Field Hospitals by Odulair

Odulair Mobile Hospital Units, essentially hospitals on wheels, are U.S. healthcare code compliant mobile hospital facilities designed to serve patient populations as independent operating vehicles or vehicles incorporated into an existing facility.

Odulair Mobile Hospital Units provide on-site hospital services for medical facilities during renovation and additional hospital capacity where it is needed, even in remote areas. Odulair Mobile Hospital Units can also support physician groups with insufficient case volume to justify a free-standing Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), or enable on-site services at prisons and correctional facilities.  Odulair Mobile Hospitals are fully equipped for disaster readiness applications and international and humanitarian missions.

Odulair's innovative Mobile Hospital Unit is housed in a double-expandable 53' trailer (18-wheeler) creating a state-of-the-art facility of 1,000 square feet. The unit includes an entry/vestibule, pre-op and recovery areas, a nurse's station, a scrub area, a 17' X 22' operating room, clean and soiled utility rooms, medical gas tank storage, a janitor's closet, and a bathroom.

All Odulair Mobile and Transportable Hospitals are designed to meet the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Guidelines for Healthcare Facilities, which form the basis for most U.S. State licensing guidelines.  These units meet JCAHO, Medicare and State standards for accreditation and healthcare code requirements outlined by the American College of Surgeons, allowing hospitals to increase upgrade their trauma readiness status and thereby receive additional governmental funding.
